Hey football fans!  Sunday, February 12 was a great day at FCC!!  As our tradition on Super Bowl Sunday we host our own version – the SOUPER BOWL OF CARING.  For almost 30 years we have held this special event following worship to raise funds for our own Meals-For-Kids program.  Always a fun time, this year was another great event and very successful in our efforts to fund the MFK program.

Our congregation enjoyed another fabulous spread of baked potatoes (record size BTW),  homemade chili,  and all the fixin’s.  Fans of the competing teams sat at the designated tables to enjoy a great meal and fun fellowship.  Beautifully decorated, as always,  tables with team colors and balloons welcomed us to ‘huddle up’ together for each team.  A wonderful table of desserts finished the meal.  Thanks to all that helped host this year’s Souper Bowl of Caring event.  Enjoy the pictures!

For the record, this year’s Super Bowl was won by the Kansas City Chiefs but the REAL winner was our MFK fund with over $700 raised.  Thanks to everyone for supporting this wonderful program.
