Do you remember Ice Cream Suppers? We all have great memories of those special experiences.  Whoever came up with that idea was a genius!!  Who doesn’t love ice cream – “I scream, you scream.  We all scream for ice cream!” 

So, now the Ice Cream Supper has been revived at FCC.  On August 11th we had a special event centered around ice cream, but it was so much more.  It was a special “Invite A Friend” occasion and we were blessed to have a live music performance by the Roaring 50’s Singers.

A nice gathering of about 50 or so attended and were treated to great food, fun, and fellowship.  The Roaring 50’s started it all off with their first set of nostalgic tunes to the delight of the enthusiastic audience.  Soon hot dogs, chips, chili, cheese, and other fixings were served up prior to that main event – an ole-fashioned Ice Cream Supper!  Many different kinds of ice cream, along with every imaginable topping, were provided.  It sure sparked our memories of days gone by while also creating new ones to cherish in the future. 

Thanks to the Fellowship committee and the DOC Team for making this evening a big success.  We hope to see you at the next event at FCC.  Be sure to see the photos for some extra fun!!
