Yes – records were broken!!

Sunday, February 9th, 2025, was a great day at FCC!!  Every Super Bowl Sunday for the past 30 years FFC has hosted the SOUPER BOWL OF CARING.  This special event featuring our Baked Potato bar is held after worship service and raises funds for our Meals-For-Kids program in collaboration with Wesley Memorial Church.  This event is a major highlight on our church’s social calendar and, as always, it was a fun time.  This year was extra special – records were broken!!

Those at the gathering enjoyed a fabulous spread of baked potatoes (spuds donated by The Chef Drive-In – shout out!), homemade chili, delicious salads, and all the baked potato fixin’s one could want.  Fans of the competing teams (Eagles vs Chiefs) sat at the designated tables to enjoy a great meal and have some fun fellowship.  Beautifully decorated, as always, tables with team colors and balloons welcomed us to chose our favorite team.  A wonderful selection of desserts and coffee finished off the meal.

This year’s Super Bowl winner turned out to be the Philadelphia Eagles, but the REAL winner was our MFK fund.  A RECORD DONATION that reached $1000 was raised to support those of need in the Cleveland community.

Thanks to all that helped with the wonderful food and hosting of this year’s Souper Bowl of Caring event and thanks to everyone for supporting this wonderful program.

Let’s break the record again next year!

Enjoy the photos from the event.

God is good – All the time!!

Blessings.
