The members of First Christian Church are saying a fond farewell to Rev. Zoe Renfro.  Rev. Renfro informed FCC leaders of her intent to resign as Interim Minister effective October 1st.  The Official Board reluctantly accepted her written resignation on September 3rd.  Her last Sunday will be September 24th.  She and Dave plan to remain as FCC members. 

FCC owes a debt of gratitude to Rev. Renfro.  During the past four years she has provided church leaders and members with determined leadership and inspirational training programs allowing FCC to choose the right path forward for our future.  She has gone well beyond her ministerial responsibilities by helping us fill some gaps in areas in which we were lacking.  She expressed how difficult it was making this decision, but feels she is following God’s will.  Also, she has expressed her continued love for FCC and our members.  We will miss Rev. Renfro as our Interim Minister. 

A Fellowship Lunch is planned after service on Sunday,  September 24th, to honor Rev. Renfro’s service at FCC.
